17 Best Holiday Gifts for Girls 2019
2019 is flying by and we can’t believe how close the holidays are. We’ve been eyeing up and testing the best gifts for kids all year long, so we are putting together a list of the best holiday gifts for girls for Christmas or Hanukkah (or whatever holiday you celebrate!) This gift list has items will be a hit for girls of all ages.
1. Klutz Activity Books
These books have been one of our go-to gifts for girls. We love crafts, and we find that there are so many great girly options by Klutz. The pictured gift is to make your own puffy stickers, but there are also kits for everything from baking to sewing. This is one of our favorite holiday gifts for girls, but there are also some awesome sets for boys too.
2. Nanables Small House Sweetness Town
These mini sets are the perfect gift and a great size for ‘on-the-go’ play. Not only can kids play with them on their own, but they can scan each house for fun games to play with their favorite characters. This is top on our list for holiday gifts for girls.
3. Pomsies Pets
I don’t think we will be able to wait until Christmas to buy this cutie as a gift for our girls. A Pomsie is like a Fingerling with fur. They can also be worn or clipped on to a bookbag. This is a great and inexpensive holiday gift for girls, which would also make a great stocking stuffer.
4. Crafts Sets from Creativity for Kids
We love these sets as gifts as they are both on-trend and excellent value. There are so many fun holiday gifts for girls by this company, and many are under $10. Some of our favorites have been the fairy garden and rock painting set. We love this Emoji Window Art set as a gift and know our girls would too.
5. On-trend clothing and accessories
We could pretty much fill our daughters’ entire stockings from Claire’s. Scrunchies, stick-on earrings, JoJo Bows – you name it! Clothing and accessories are great holiday gifts for girls. Whether you are shopping for a younger girl who loves unicorns and rainbows, or an older VSCO girl, you can find so many great options across the web. We love the new fleece pants/shorts trend as they are just so cozy. This llama pair is too cute!
6. Barbie
Is it even a holiday gifts for girl guide without Barbie in the mix? Our girls have loved Barbies for the past couple years, and this year (at age 5 1/2), it is on of the top items on their gift lists. This camper will be a Christmas gift this year, and we will certainly get some more dolls and accessories to add to the collection as well.
7. My Audio Pet by UniCHORD
These adorable and tiny “pets” are excellent bluetooth speakers. We think it’s a great gift for your music loving kids, who can keep these in their room for an impromptu dance party. You can also play games through a compatible app. The unicorn is a great holiday gift for girls, but there are plenty of options to choose from.
8. Board Games
Board games are such an underrated gift! We often forget this as an excellent gift option. They are inexpensive and encourage family fun. Guess Who! is a favorite at our house, but you can find hundreds of great options on Amazon. In terms of holiday gifts for girls, we got a big kick out of the Don’t Step in It Unicorn Edition. We received the original version as a gift, and it’s provided a lot of fun and laughs.
9. Duffle bag
Between sports practices, sleepovers, and trips, we can never have enough bags for our kids. We love the quilted duffle bag trend. Here is a cute one from Justice, but you can also find your pick at Pottery Barn Kids. We love getting a name embroidered too to make a perfect gift.
10. Robot Dog
Robots aren’t only the rage with adults these days – AI is becoming a hot gift item in all categories. There are robot toys of all price ranges (from $25 to $3000), but we are recommending the highly rated Harry (who is currently only $21). This gift can be for boys or girls, and ages 24 months – 7 years.
11. American Girl Doll / Accessories
Did you know you can buy American Girl on Amazon?! We love the Wellie Wishers collection – adorable dolls and only $60! There are great dolls, clothing, and accessories at Amazon or American Girl’s website. We also are big fans of Target’s Our Generation brand for more reasonably priced sets and accessories.
12. Hatchimals Wow Llalacorn
This is one of the expected 2019 top holiday gifts for girls. Buy it now, while it’s on sale! This Llalacorn (llama + unicorn) surprises you with how long it magically grows its neck. We aren’t totally sold on this one but know our girls will be begging us for this gift.
13. Journal
A journal is a great gift at any age – and we love this flippy sequin version. This is a sweet way to encourage writing and in our experience, kids love having a special notebook of their own. Along with this, you could add gel pens or emoji stickers, and it will be a perfect gift.
14. LEGOs
LEGOs are one of those gifts you just can’t go wrong with! We think LEGO Friends has so many awesome holiday gifts for girls and at reasonable price points. Amazon and Target both have great selection of LEGOs at good prices. The pictured set is currently only $16.
15. L.O.L Dolls or House
LOL Dolls are showing no sign of slowing down in our house. If you are looking for a big gift for a special girl, an LOL Dollhouse (Winter Disco Chalet Doll House is the newest) or Barbie Dreamhouse are both awesome options for holiday gifts for girls. They are a bit of a pain to put together, but it’s worth it!
16. Micro Maxi Scooter
Pricey, yes, but definitely worth it. Micro Scooters are our favorite – highest quality and easiest for our kids to ride from our experience. If you are looking for a bigger holiday gift, this is a great one for girls and boys. There are different versions for each age group (Micro, Maxi, and Sprite) and this gift will get lots of squeals!
17. Membership or Gift Card
We can’t link to this gift, but we think memberships of any kind are a fabulous gift. Some ideas include: the zoo, museums, or favorite places. Kids classes are also great gifts. It could be as big as a yearly membership or as little as a single Sky Zone pass. Especially for kids that are in families that don’t want a lot of toys or things, this gift is a holiday gift sure to please!
